Several Kansas Department of Corrections inmates with area convictions are up for public comment sessions in the next few months, including three people convicted in a 1997 Riley County murder. Delisha Branch, 45, Duereal Campbell, 36, and Shakeer Davis, 37, were convicted in connection with the February 1997 murder of Wanda Norman, 44, of Manhattan at Norman’s home at Countryside Estates. In addition to first degree murder, the three were convicted of aggravated robbery.
Public comment sessions are set for January 18th at the Derby Police and Courts Building, January 27th at the Topeka Municipal Court House, and January 30th at Kansas City City Hall.

Also up for the same public comment sessions and possible parole are Larry Bolden, 55, for robbery and aggravated battery in Geary and Sedgwick Counties in the 1980’s and Joseph Duane Underwood, 26, for indecent liberties in 2010 in Clay County.

Parole hearings will be held in February, with the earliest possible release from KDOC in March of next year.
