    Officers with the Riley County Police Department arrested Aaron Finch, 29, of Manhattan on Monday at approximately 4:15 p.m. while at the Riley County Police Department. Finch was arrested on a warrant from Ellis County with the offenses of distributing a hallucinogenic or marijuana and no Kansas drug tax stamp. He was given a bond of $50,000 and at the time of this report, he was confined at the Riley County Jail.


    RCPD filed a report for the offense of theft of property or services on Monday at approximately 7:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of College Avenue after a vehicle was taken without the owner’s permission. Police noted that a 2002 white Volvo was removed from the area between Nov. 23 and Monday and currently its whereabouts are unknown. The total estimated loss is valued at $2,000 and police are asking anyone with information to contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. The vehicle was unattended at the time of this crime and there was no forced entry.
