    RCPD Activity Report 12/2/16

    RCPD filed a report for the offense of aggravated burglary in the 3400 block of Treesmill Circle in Manhattan Thursday.  Officers listed Michael Ryan, 65, of Manhattan, as the victim after a collection of metal die cast cars were removed from his garage without his permission. The total estimated loss is listed as approximately $900.00 and currently suspects are unknown. Police are asking that anyone with information on this crime contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    A report for the offense of criminal damage to property was filed in the 1300 block of Marlatt Ave. in Manhattan Thursday.  Officers listed Eleanor Blaker, 84, and Charlatta Ray, 61, both of Manhattan, as the victims after finding that a total of 4 tires on their vehicles were slashed. This damage caused approximately $800.00 worth of damage and currently suspects are unknown. If you have information about this crime contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department filed a report for the offense of rape in the city limits of Manhattan, which is reported to have occurred during the overnight hours Wednesday. Police listed a 22-year-old female as the victim and the suspect as a 21-year-old male, known to the victim. Due to the nature of this investigation no further information has been released.
