The Kansas Department of Transportation has updated its phase 1 traffic plan for the K-18/K-113 interchange project that is expected to start Wednesday.

During Phase 1, Seth Child Road will be closed between the southern on/off ramps and Allison Avenue. However, Allison will remain open to through traffic. Construction will be taking place on the east side of Seth Child Road, but one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
