    Riley County Police Officers responded to a report of a bomb threat at the Crisis Center in Manhattan on Saturday. A female reported an unknown male called her and told her there was a bomb under the Crisis Center. Officers responded and were unable to locate any threat.

    The phone number was later determined to be a number used in prior scams and RCPD indicates there was no threat to the public. Due to the nature of the victim in this case, no additional information will be provided.

    Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Riley County Police Officers filed a report for rape in the northwest part of Manhattan on Sunday. Officers listed a 15 year old female as the victim when she reported a 16 year old male known to her and 15 year old male known to her raped her while at a party. Due to the nature of the offenses listed, no additional information will be released.

    A Topeka man was arrested this past weekend by Riley County Police on a 30-thousand dollar bond for a Clay County failure to appear warrant.  Carl McClelland, 46, was taken into custody while at the Riley County Police Department Saturday morning.
