    Officers filed a report for fraud in the 600 block of Poyntz Ave., on July 20, 2017 at approximately 12:40 PM. Officers listed Tyler White, 23, of Ogden, Kansas as the victim when he reported that an unknown suspect took a debit card and used it to make purchases online. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Joshua Jones, 28, of Ogden, Kansas was arrested in the 200 block of Seventh St. on July 20, 2017 at approximately 4:40 PM Jones was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Jones’ bond was set at $5,500.00, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in Riley County on July 20, 2017. Officers listed a 12 year old as the victim when he reported a 15 year old male known to him battered him. The 12 year old was transferred to Stormont Vail for him injuries. Due to the age of the victim, no additional information will be released.

    Officers responded to the 1500 block of Beach Rd. for a report of an injury accident on July 20, 2017 at approximately 7:05 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2008 green Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Misty Mann, 20, of Saint George, Kansas had run off the roadway. Mann was transported by EMS to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. No citations were issued at the scene.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated robbery in the 2200 block of Claflin Rd. on July 21, 2017 at approximately 1:30 AM. Officers listed Kirk Hobbs, 25, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported unknown suspects attempted to take his phone and wallet, which caused Hobbs minor injuries. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Marquez Robinson, 26, of Manhattan, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on July 21, 2017 at approximately 5:00 AM Robinson was arrested on a Mississippi Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation. Marquez was issued no bond, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
