    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and violation of a protection order (both domestic related) in the city of Manhattan on July 14, 2017. Officers listed a 28 year old female as the victim when she reported that a 23 year old male known to her attempted to run her over with her vehicle and also violated a protection order. Due to the nature of the crimes reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 1400 block of Yuma St. on July 15, 2017 at approximately 6:45 AM. Officers listed David Detweiler, 21, of Manhattan, as the victim when he reported that his 2005 Nissan 350z had been taken by an unknown suspect. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $15,100. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    Kirby Williamson, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on July 15, 2017 at approximately 4:15 PM. Williamson was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated robbery. Williamson’s bond was set at $20,000.

    Officers responded to the 5100 block of McDowell Creek Rd. on July 15, 2017 at approximately 8:55 PM for a report of an injury accident. When officers arrived on scene, they found that Brendan Kinsley, 18, of Manhattan, had flipped an ATV he was driving. Kinsley was lifeflighted to Stormont Vail for his injuries. Grace Smith, 16, of Manhattan, was a passenger on the ATV and was lifeflighted to Stormont Vail in critical condition.

    Shawn Brown, 33, of Ramona, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on July 16, 2017 at approximately 3:30 PM. Brown was arrested on a Geary County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Brown’s bond was set at $10,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault (domestic related) in the city of Manhattan on July 16, 2017. Officers listed a 23 year old female and a 30 year old male as the victims when they reported that a 24 year old male known to them threatened them with a knife. Due to the nature of the crimes reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Bertrand St. on July 16, 2017 at approximately 5:35 PM. Officers listed Emerald Property Management as the victim when it was reported that an unknown suspect damaged the electrical meter and conduit, and cut electrical cables as well. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 2200 block of Spain Dr. on July 16, 2017 at approximately 9:55 PM. Officers listed Dara’s Rental as the victim, when it was reported that an unknown suspect damaged multiple window screens at her residence. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.
