    Riley County Police Department Daily Activity 7/2/2017

    Officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 1900 block of Beck St. on June 30, 2017 at approximately 8:00 AM. Officers listed Jamie Aguero, 30, of Manhattan, and Rent 4 Less as the victims when Aguero reported that a suspect known to her took her 2009 Ford Taurus without her permission. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $7,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal sodomy in the northwest part of Manhattan on June 30, 2017. Officers listed a 6 year old male as the victim when he reported that an unknown aged juvenile male attacked him in a bathroom. Due to the nature of the offenses reported as well as the age of the victim, no additional information regarding this case will be released.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 1900 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. on June 30, 2017 at approximately 1:20 PM. Officers listed Streeter Enterprise L.L.C. as the victim when it was reported that an unknown suspect entered a warehouse over the past several months and took a Mig welder, a welding helmet, jacket, and gloves, a Troy power washer, golf bag, Callaway golf clubs, Adams golf clubs, a golf towel, and golf balls. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,345.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

    Jeffrey Ross-Leivan, 48, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 300 block of Riley Ave. in Ogden, Kansas, on June 30, 2017 at approximately 5:35 PM. Ross-Leivan was arrested for driving while suspended as well as on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Ross-Leivan’s total bond was set at $10,750.

    Officers filed a report for promoting obscenity in the northwest part of Manhattan on July 1, 2017. Officers listed a 12 year old male as the suspect when it was reported that he was posting nude photos of himself online. Due to the nature of the offenses reported, no additional information regarding this case will be released.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in the northeast part of Manhattan on July 1, 2017 at approximately 10:00 PM. Officers listed a 13 year old female as the victim when she reported that a 40 year old female known to her cut her during an argument. Due to the age of the victim, no additional information regarding this case will be released.
