    Riley County Police Department Daily Activity 7/7/2017

    Officers filed a report for sexual battery in Riley County on July 7, 2017. Officers listed a 16 year old female as the victim when she reported that a 40 year old male known to her had touched her inappropriately over the past several months. Due to the nature of the crimes alleged, no additional information regarding this case will be released.

    Officers responded to the 300 block of Fort Riley Blvd. on July 6, 2017 at approximately 1:30 PM for a report of an aggravated assault. Officers listed Hai Dinh, 27, of Manhattan, as the victim when he reported that a known suspect pointed a gun at him and threatened to shoot him during an argument. Johnny Huynh, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on July 6, 2017 at approximately 3:15 PM. Huynh’s bond was set at $10,000. Huynh was not confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 300 block of Sherry Pl. on July 6, 2017 at approximately 12:15 PM. Officers listed Dynetta Gore, 52, of Manhattan, as the victim, when she reported that she paid a known suspect to perform work for her and after a year, has still not performed the services paid for. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,000.00.
