    Several drug-related arrests made in Riley County

    For the third day in a row several drug-related arrests are on the early morning Riley County Police arrest report.

    Zachery Burch, 28, of Alta Vista was taken into custody Wednesday evening at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on Seth Child on distribution and possession related charges, with a bond of $13,000, Earnest Johnson, 53, of Manhattan apparently faces distribution related charges and also was arrested at the law enforcement center Wednesday afternoon, with a bond of $10,000. And Seth Hoskins, 35,of Manhattan was taken into custody in the 6100 block of Anderson Avenue Wednesday afternoon for distribution of marijuana and an apparent possession charge. Hoskins’ bond was set at $10,000.

    Nearly a dozen people have been arrested since Monday in Manhattan and Ogden on drug-related charges.

    Updated 10 a.m. Wednesday:
    According to the RCPD activity report:
    David Sells, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 400 block of N Juliette on Aug. 22, 2017 at approximately 10:45 AM. Sells was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for three counts of distribution of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a school. Sells total bond was set at $20,000.00. Sells was not confined at the time of this report.
    Glinda Vankirk, 29, of Ogden, Kansas, was arrested in the 200 block of Eighth St. on Aug. 22, 2017 at approximately 10:05 AM. Vankirk was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribution of methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit distribution of methamphetamine. Vankirk’s total bond was set at $15,000.00. Vankirk was not confined at the time of this report.
    Anita Albano, 50, of Ogden, Kansas, was arrested in the 200 block of Riley Ave. on Aug. 22, 2017 at approximately 9:00 AM. Albano was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for two counts of distribute a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school. Albano’s total bond was set at $10,000.00, causing her to remain confined at the time of this report.
    Sonia Reeves, 45, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 800 block of Church Ave. on Aug. 22, 2017 at approximately 10:05 AM. Reeves was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, distribution of cocaine, and endangering a child. Reeves total bond was set at $10,000.00. Reeves was not confined at the time of this report.

    Updated Wednesday morning (6 a.m.)

    As KMAN reported earlier, several drug related arrests were made in Manhattan and Ogden on Monday. And more arrests are showing up on Wednesday morning’s early Riley County Police arrest report.  David Sells, 33, of Manhattan was taken into custody Tuesday morning in the 400 block of North Juliette on drug distribution charges, Sonia Reeves, 45, of Manhattan was arrested in the 800 block of Church Avenue on distribution and endangering a child charges, and Glinda Vankirk, 29, and Anita Albano, 50, of Ogden were arrested Tuesday morning in Ogden on apparent drug distribution charges. Bonds range from $10,000 to $20,000.

    Arrests Monday in Manhattan included Jessica Miller, 34, for distribution of oxycodone and distribution of hydromorphone with a $15,000 bond, and Billy Womack, 32, for multiple distribution charges with a bond of $20,000.

    In Ogden, Terrance Estes, 52, was arrested possession and distribution charges with a bond of $15,000, Courtney Hoyt, 31, of Manhattan (arrested in Ogden) for multiple charges of distribution with a bond of $20,000, and Amanda Cathcart, 32, for three counts of distribution of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school with a bond of $20,000.

    Several drug-related arrests, five with high bond amounts, are listed on Tuesday morning’s Riley County Police early morning arrest report. Three of the cases involve $20,000 bond amounts with distribution listed on the charges–arrested in connection with those cases are Billy Joe Womack, 32, and Amanda Cathcart, 32, both of Ogden, and Courtney Hoyt, 31, of Manhattan. Two cases with $15,000 bonds involve Levi Terrance, 52, of Ogden and Jessica Miller, 34, of Manhattan. Two other arrests were made involving lower bond amounts of $5,000.
    Arrests were made throughout the day Monday at a variety of locations in Ogden and  Manhattan including Westwood Drive, Fort Riley Boulevard, and Juliette Avenue.
    It’s not known if the arrests are connected to Monday afternoon’s lock out at Manhattan High School’s West Campus KMAN told you about Monday. That lock out occurred at about 1:42 p.m. but was lifted 20 minutes later. USD 383 and high school officials indicated RCPD had advised them of a potential threat outside the building.
    More information is expected a bit later Tuesday morning.
