    UPDATE One dead in Pottawatomie County crash

    UPDATE: On September 16th, at about 4:40 p.m, a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Daniel McDonald was driving east on Highway 24 when it was reported to have crossed the center line and was then struck by 2 west bound vehicles on Highway 24.  Daniel McDonald, 18 of Wamego, died at the scene.  The drivers of the other vehicles, Corey Swisher, 44 of St.Mary’s, driving a 2006 Volvo V50, reported no injuries and Joshua Asbury, 35 of St.George, driving a 1997 Ford Expedition, was injured and transported to a Manhattan hospital.

    Still not many details but a Pottawatomie County resident died in a multi-vehicle accident on U-S 24 Saturday afternoon. The Pottawatomie county Sheriff’s office tells KMAN the accident was reported at 4:40 p.m. Saturday just east of Highway 24 and Schoeman Road. In addition to the death, one person was transported with injuries. Names are not being released at this time.
