    RCPD seeking information related to local burglaries

    The Riley County Police Department is asking the public for information regarding four local burglaries, according to a press release from the department Tuesday.

    The first three burglaries occurred between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday morning in the 3300 block of Anderson Avenue at Goblin Games, Debonaire Hair Salon and Legends Sports Bar. The fourth occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Stagg Hill Road at the Asian Market. Surveillance video from the businesses indicates at least two individuals are involved.

    This is the second time the Asian Market has been burglarized recently. The first occurrence was Sept. 23.

    The Riley County Police Department is asking anyone with information to please call RCPD at (785) 537-2112 or Crime Stoppers at (785) 539-7777. Using the Crime Stoppers Service allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
