    Officers filed a report for motor vehicle theft in the 1100 block of Laramie St. in Manhattan on December 1, 2017 at approximately 3:40 PM. Officers listed Brian Turner, 23, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took his 2009 Nissan Altima. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $7,500.
    Israel Maldonado, 45, of Junction City, Kansas, was arrested in the 700 block of Allen Rd. in Manhattan on December 1, 2017 at approximately 9:50 PM. Maldonado was arrested on charges of flee and elude, driving while suspended, ignition interlock device, possession of methamphetamine, distribute or possess with the intent to distribute drug paraphernalia, use or possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia and criminal use a weapon. Maldonado was also arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Maldonado’s total bond was set at $14,000.
    Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on December 2, 2017. Officers listed a 20 year old female as the victim and a 21 year old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.
    Officers filed a report for domestic battery and rape in Manhattan on December 2, 2017. Officers listed a 34 year old female as the victim and a male known to the victim as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.
    Officers filed a report for electronic solicitation and aggravated indecent liberties in Manhattan on December 3, 2017. Officers listed a 13 year old female as the victim and an unknown male as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported no additional information will be released.
    Herschel Harrison, 34, of Manhattan was arrested in the 3000 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd. in Manhattan on December 3, 2017 at approximately 6:55 PM. Harrison was arrested on charges of abuse of a child and battery. Harrison’s bond was set at $10,000.
