By KMAN Staff on February 28, 2018 Local News, Manhattan, Riley County

The 2018 Flint Hills Home Show is coming to the National Guard Armory in Manhattan Friday and Saturday.

Organizers say this year’s show is the largest show ever in the Flint Hills area and will have 113 exhibitors in over 180 booths and displays. There will also be a food court and kids’ play area always a popular treat at the show.

The show features new construction, landscaping and remodeling ideas as well as displays for pools and patios. Insurance, mortgage and investment companies will be there to offer finance opportunities and technology companies will be present to share the latest information and innovation trends. The show will also feature new innovative cleaning concepts, yard equipment and interior decorating ideas.

Admission is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Additional show information is also available at flinthillsbuilders.com.

The show will be open to the public Saturday from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Prizes and giveaways will be offered from many vendor booths. An Amazon Echo and Google Home device will be given away by drawing for all those that complete a show “punch card.” These cards will be available free at the entry to the show.

The Riley County Garden Show has joined the show again this year. K-State Research and Extension/Riley County will have a booth for information on our community extension and garden programs.
