The Junction City Police Department has announced it arrested a man who had four weapons, two pounds of marijuana and $6,000 in cash.

The JCPD says it arrested 31-year-old Joshua Dantzler of Junction City Friday morning at 5 a.m.

The JCPD along with members of the Geary Count Sherriff’s Office and Grandview Plaza Police conducted search warrants in the 1900 block of Sunflower Drive and the 900 block of Westridge Drive after a four month investigation by the Drug Operation Group.

Dantzler’s charges include possession of marijuana with intent to sell, felony possession of marijuana, no drug tax stamp and and felony possession of a handgun.

He is being held without bond pending his first appearance in court.
