    Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 1100 block of Moro St. in Manhattan on February 9, 2018 at approximately 11:35 AM. Officers listed Wingstop as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect scammed money from the business by claiming to be a government official. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $935.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 1800 block of Claflin Rd. in Manhattan on February 9, 2018 at approximately 1:00 PM. Officers listed Jonathon Sago, 30, of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his Trek Road style bicycle. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $720.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for aggravated robbery in the 1200 block of Yuma St. in Manhattan on February 10, 2018 at approximately 12:55 AM. Officers listed Vakeia Murrill, 24, of Manhattan as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect took money and her phone from her residence. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $950.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of Laramie St. in Manhattan on February 10, 2018 at approximately 4:50 AM. Officers listed Jeff’s Pizza as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a computer at the business. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on February 10, 2018. Officers listed a 28 year old female as the victim and an unknown male as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of Northfield Rd. and Tuttle Creek Blvd. on February 10, 2018 at approximately 1:40 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2013 Volkswagon Passat driven by Michelle Silvia, 50, of Manhattan had been struck by a 2014 Honda Civic driven by James Bonner, 28, of Manhattan. Bonner was issued a citation for following too closely. Silvia was issued a citation for driving while suspended. Silvia was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.

    Shane Goble, 34, of Wichita, Kansas, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on February 10, 2018 at approximately 2:45 PM. Goble was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Gobble was issued a total bond of $8,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of K-113 Hwy and Southwind Rd. on February 10, 2018 at approximately 6:30 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2006 Honda Motorcycle driven by Christopher Harnage, 34, of Manhattan had struck a 2009 Chevy Malibu driven by Madison Marker, 16, of Olsburg, Kansas. Harnage was transported to Stormont Vail for treatment of his injuries.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, theft, flee or attempt to elude, and criminal tresspass in the 2200 block of Blaker Dr. in Manhattan on February 10, 2018 at approximately 11:30 PM. Officers listed the State of Kansas, Vicki Bell, 58, of Manhattan, Nathan Bell, 22, of Manhattan and Andrew Arling, 21, of Manhattan as the victims when it was reported a known suspect pointed a gun at the victims. Joseph Keehn, 23, of Manhattan was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, theft, fleeing and elude and criminal tresspass. Keehn was issued a total bond of $20,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

    Cooper Tanner, 22, of Manhattan was arrested in the 1100 block of Moro St. in Manhattan on February 11, 2018 at approximately 12:05 AM. Tanner was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribute or possess with the intent to distribute marijuana within 1000 ft. of a school. Tanner was issued a total bond of $7,500.00. Tanner was not confined at the time of htis report.
