    Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated burglary in Manhattan on March 3, 2018. Officers listed a 47 year old male as the victim and an unknown person as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 3000 block of Brookville Dr. in Manhattan on March 3, 2018 at approximately 3:15 AM. Officers listed Sara Cutter, 66, of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took electronics and miscellanous items from her home. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Natron Gipson, 22, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on March 3, 2018 at approximately 7:50 PM. Gipson was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery. Gipson was issued a total bond of $8,000.00. Gipson was not confined at the time of this report.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of 11th and Fremont in Manhattan on March 4, 2018 at approximately 2:30 AM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2004 Black Mitsubishi Galant driven by Zosha Hereford, 21, of Manhattan, had been struck by a 2004 Silver Dodge Ram Pickup driven by Ivan Juache-Perfecto, 24, of Garden City, Kansas. Juache- Perfecto was arrested for DUI and failure to stop at an accident. Hereford was transported to Via Christi along with a passenger in the vehicle for treatment of their injuries.

    Officers filed a report for attempted theft and criminal damage to property in the 1900 block of Humboldt St. in Manhattan on March 4, 2018 at approximately 1:50 PM. Officers listed Joel Anderson, 31, of Manhattan, as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and damaged it. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for aggravated burglary in the 1400 block of Unversity Dr. in Manhattan on March 4, 2018 at approximately 1:55 PM. Officers listed Colton McCumber, 20, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported two unknown suspects took two Shark vacuums from his residence. The total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00. One of the vacuums was later recovered.

    Joshua Schmeal, 20, of Junction City, Kansas, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on March 4, 2018 at approximately 5:00 PM. Schmeal was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated indecent liberties with a child and indecent liberties with a child. Schmeal was issued a total bond of $20,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

    Lamichael Fewell, 27, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 800 block of Yuma St. in Manhattan on March 4, 2018 at approximately 6:30 PM. Fewell was arrested on Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Fewell was issued a total bond of $7,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
