    Officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 1000 block of Vattier St. in Manhattan on October 6, 2018 at approximately 5:40 PM. Officers listed Andrew Middendord, 23, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect cut his bike lock and took his specialized rockhopper bicycle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,210.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
    Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on October 6, 2018. Officers listed a 17 year old female as the victim and an 18 year old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.
    Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 2600 block of Anderson Ave. in Manhattan on October 7, 2018 at approximately 1:10 PM. Officers listed Delwin Crawforth, 81, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect scammed him out of money using the publishers clearing house scam. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $38,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
    Zachary Tilton, 30, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 900 block of N 4th St. in Manhattan on October 5, 2018 at approximately 1:50 PM. Tilton was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Tilton was issued a total bond of $40,000.00 causing him to remain confined while at the time of this report.
    Officers filed a report for theft by deception in the 700 block of Donde in Manhattan on October 5, 2018 at approximately 5:00 PM. Officers listed Jeffrey Hicks, 30, of Manhattan as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect scammed him out of money using the iTunes Gift Card scam. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $900.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
    Ronald Lichtenhan, 61, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on October 7, 2018 at approximately 7:30 PM. Lichtenhan was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties with a child (x4). Lichtenhan was issued a total bond of $1,000,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
    Officers filed a report for attempted aggravated burglary and lewd and lascivious in the 1700 block of Fairchild Ave. in Manhattan on October 7, 2018 at approximately 11:30 PM. Officers listed 9 females who were home at the time as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect entered an unlocked door and exposed himself. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for arson in the 700 block of S 6th St. in Manhattan on October 7, 2018 at approximately 11:30 PM. Officers listed a 41 year old male and a 43 year old male as the victims when an unknown suspect started a structure fire. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $10,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
