    Officers filed a report for theft and making false information in the 100 block of Bluemont in Manhattan on January 17, 2019, at approximately 7:00 PM. Officers listed Trevor Potty, 44, of Lawrence as the victim when an unknown suspect used a check stolen from the victim to purchase electronic equipment. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $540.00.  Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
    Officers filed a report for theft and identity theft in the 700 block of Allen Rd in Manhattan on January 17, 2019, at approximately 3:50 PM.  Officers listed Jennifer Deadmond, 34, of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported a known female suspect took the victims Samsung Television and $500 from her checking account.  The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $800.00.
    Joshua Bissell, 20, of Manhattan was arrested in the 700 block of Allen Rd in Manhattan on January 17, 2019, at approximately 7:40 PM.  Bissell was arrested on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.  Bissell was issued no bond causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
