Officers filed a report for burglary in the 12000 block of LKW Rd in Leonardville on January 24, 2019, at approximately 11:40 AM.  Officers listed Donald Nelson, 79, of Leonardville as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect entered his shop building and stole miscellaneous tools.  The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,250.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.  Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

Officers filed a report for making false information in the 2000 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd in Manhattan on January 23, 2019, at approximately 3:40 PM.  Officers listed United Bank and Trust and Revhoney as the victims when a known male suspect attempted to cash fraudulent checks.  The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $4,873.16.

Officers filed a report for theft in the 700 block of Whitetail Pass in Manhattan on January 25, 2019, at approximately 4:20 AM.  Officers listed Brandon Schneider, 35, of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect took his 2007 Honda Civic.  The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,500.00.
