    Officers filed a report for criminal use of a financial card in the 100 block of E Bluemont Ave in Manhattan on February 28, 2019, at approximately 3:50 PM. Officers listed Chelsea Parks, 26 of Ft Riley as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect used her card to purchase items. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,400.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for escape from custody at the Riley County Jail on February 28, 2019, at approximately 3:30PM. Officers listed the State of Kansas as the victim when it was reported a known female suspect did not return to the Riley County Jail after being released on furlough. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Tyresse Gerald, 19 of Manhattan was arrested in the 1400 block of Chase Pl in Manhattan on February 28, 2019, at approximately 12:50 PM. Gerald was arrested on the offenses of distribute marijuana and distribute or possess with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia. Gerald was issued a total bond of $5,000.00. Gerald was no longer confined at the time of this report.
