    Officers filed a report for theft in the 800 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd in Manhattan on March 8, 2019, at approximately 5:00 PM. Officers listed Midwest Ace Hardware of Manhattan as the victim when an unknown suspect took a 2004 Uhaul tow dolly. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,500.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1300 block of N 10th St in Manhattan on March 9, 2019, at approximately 6:35 PM. Officers listed Austin Snyder, 20 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged his Ford F150. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 1400 block of Chase Pl in Manhattan on March 10, 2019, at approximately 2:30 PM. Officer listed Brylie Coffman, 20 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported a known female and a known male suspect took her Mac laptop and vape smoking device. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $800.00.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in the 400 block of Laramie in Manhattan on March 10, 2019, at approximately 11:00 PM. Officers listed Drew McDowell, 24 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect injured him. The victim was life-flighted to a medical facility for treatment of his injuries.

    Shane Amaro, 35 of Manhattan was arrested in the 2500 block of Brook Ln in Manhattan on March 8, 2019, at approximately 1:10 PM. Amaro was arrested on three Riley County District Court warrants for material witness warrant and two counts of failure to appear. Amaro was issued a total bond of $8,000.00. Amaro was no longer confined at the time of this report.

    Samantha Bland, 29 of Laredo, TX was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on March 10, 2019, at approximately 2:25 PM. Bland was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated intimidation of a witness. Bland was issued a total bond of $125,000.00. Bland was still confined at the time of this report.
