    Officers filed a report for forgery and theft by deception in the 3100 block of Anderson in Manhattan on March 15, 2019, at approximately 2:55 PM. Officers listed Robbins Motor of Manhattan and Ronald Farrens, 64 of Bedford, Iowa as the victims when it was reported a known male suspect took checks from the victim and purchased a vehicle without his permission. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $40,280.00. Adam Sills, 28 of Manhattan was arrested in connection in the 3100 block of Anderson in Manhattan on March 15, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM. Sills was arrested on the offenses of theft by deception, two counts of forgery and attempted theft by deception. Sills was issued a total bond of $14,000.00. Sills was still confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 300 block of S 3rd St in Manhattan on March 15, 2019, at approximately 5:15 PM. Officers listed Flint Hills Discovery Center of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a toilet. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of S 11th St in Manhattan on March 15, 2019, at approximately 10:15 PM. Officers listed Shijun Yan, 45 and Rong Shao, 40 both of Manhattan as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect took their bicycle and bike lock. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $670.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.  

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 700 block of Ratone in Manhattan on March 16, 2019, at approximately 3:20 AM. Officers listed Rescare Human Service of Garden City as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect damaged a vehicle and wall. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $705.00. 

    Officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1800 block of Platt St in Manhattan on March 16, 2019, at approximately 10:20 PM. Officers listed Grant Nichols, 21 and Diamond Real Estate Management both of Manhattan as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a window and took miscellaneous electronic items and a handgun. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,820.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 400 block of Walters Dr in Manhattan on March 17, 2019, at approximately 1:20 PM. Officers listed Terrell Brooks, 28 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect displayed a weapon while arguing with the victim. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1800 block of Anderson in Manhattan on March 17, 2019, at approximately 2:50 PM. Officers listed Troy Puetz, 22 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a window and took miscellaneous electronic equipment. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,055.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 500 block of Sunset Ave in Manhattan on March 17, 2019, at approximately 4:40 PM. Officers listed Thomas Williams, 19 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took his bicycle and bike lock. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $595.00.

    Liana Gonzalez-Padovani, 20 of Junction City was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on March 17, 2019, at approximately 10:15 PM. Gonzalez-Padovani was arrested on two Riley County District Court warrants for two counts of failure to appear. Gonzalez-Padovani was issued a total bond of $10,000.00. Gonzalez-Padovani was no longer confined at the time of this report.
