    Officers filed a report for theft in the 100 block of Blue Earth Pl in Manhattan on March 4, 2019, at approximately 11:25 AM. Officers listed Sandra Sedillos, 35 and a 17-year-old female both of Manhattan as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect took their iPhone7. The estimated total loss associated with the case is approximately $500.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on March 4, 2019, at approximately 7:10 PM. Officers listed a 22-year-old female as the victim and a 23-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no further information will be released.

    Margarita Clark, 46 of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on March 4, 2019, at approximately 2:30 PM. Clark was arrested on two Manhattan Municipal Court warrants for two counts of failure to appear. Clark was issued a total bond of $5,000.00. Clark was still confined at the time of this report.

    Eladio Alvarez Jr, 40 of Manhattan was arrested in the 500 block of Richards Dr in Manhattan on March 4, 2019, at approximately 3:30 PM. Alvarez was arrested on the offenses of interference with law enforcement officer and possession of para w/ intent to manufacture/plant/cultivate controlled substance and on a Riley County District Court warrant for aggravated failure to appear and on a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for parole violation. Alvarez was issued no bond, causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.

    Jaiann Destina, 29 of Manhattan was arrested in the 2200 block of College Ave in Manhattan on March 5, 2019, at approximately 12:20 AM. Destina was arrested on two Riley County District Court warrants for probation violation and failure to appear. Destina was issued a total bond of $7,500.00. Destina was still confined at the time of this report.
