    Officers filed a report for theft in the 1400 block of Highland Ridge Dr in Manhattan on April 4, 2019, at approximately 8:55 AM. Officers listed Jeffery Klemick, 39 of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took lawn care equipment. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $740.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated battery, assault and criminal damage to property in the 2500 block of Browning in Manhattan on April 4, 2019, at approximately 2:25 PM. Officers listed USD 383 and Melissa Price, 30 both of Manhattan as the victims when it was reported a 13-year-old male injured her and damaged a fire extinguisher. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $250.00.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 9000 block of Lasita Rd in Leonardville on April 4, 2019, at approximately 5:10 PM. Officers listed Kaye Klucas, 61 of Leonardville as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took miscellaneous tools.  The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,200.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    David Maldonado Jr, 44 of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on April 4, 2019, at approximately 10:50 AM. Maldonado was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Maldonado was issued a total bond of $20,000.00. Maldonado was still confined at the time of this report.
