    Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on May 21, 2019, at approximately 3:30 PM. Officers listed a 20-year-old female as the victim and a 24-year-old male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic), no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for burglary in the 2100 block of Prairie Field Pl. in Manhattan on May 21, 2019, at approximately 5:25 PM. Officers listed Marjorie Pfister, 74, of Manhattan as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect took her purse and items inside. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $515.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers responded to the report of an injury accident near the intersection of Poyntz and Sarber in Manhattan on May 21, 2019, at approximately 5:00 PM. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 2004 Red Chevy Silverado driven by William McDonald, 68, of Louisville was hit by a 2005 Blue Chrysler 300 driven by Evan Boyer, 19, of Manhattan. McDonald was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. McDonald was issued a citation for failure to yield.

    Officers filed a report for vehicle burglary in the 900 block of Kearney St. in Manhattan on May 21, 2019 at approximately 3:45 PM. Officers listed Adriana Elliot, 22, of Manhattan as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect took money from her vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $600.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
