Monday’s In Focus featured an update from Riley County Emergency Director Pat Collins on the flood risk.  Collins talked about how emergency operations are winding down for the time being, and what officials doing now to prepare for future flooding potential.

Manhattan City Manager Ron Fehr and Assistant Fire Chief Brad Claussen continued the flood conversation with a brief recap of past efforts and a look to the future regarding the levee system around downtown.

Fehr and Claussen also discussed agenda items for the upcoming city commission meeting this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
