Fort Riley to test emergency preparedness in Wednesday exercise

    Fort Riley

Fort Riley will be evaluating and synchronizing the installation’s emergency preparedness processes and procedures in a full-scale exercise Wednesday, July 24th.

Officials advise community members to expect increased activity by emergency response vehicles on post as well as announcements via the “giant voice” loudspeaker.

Due to the exercise, traffic may be re-routed due to some roads being temporarily closed. Authorities ask motorists to allow for extra time traveling around the post.
