    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in the 1900 block of Strong Avenue in Manhattan on October 2, 2019 at approximately 2:40 PM. Officers listed a 41-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect pointed a gun at the victim. Oliver Raglin Jr., 56, of Junction City was arrested in connection on an offense of aggravated assault. Raglin Jr. was issued a total bond of $5,000.00. Raglin Jr. was not confined at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for animal cruelty in the 4200 block of Prairie Country Lane in Riley on October 2, 2019 at approximately 8:50 AM. Officers listed a male (age not listed) from Riley as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect shot his Long Horn Cow. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal threat in the 100 block of Manhattan Town Center in Manhattan on October 2, 2018 at approximately 8:30 AM. Officers listed the US Army as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect made threatening comments to the recruiting office. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.

    Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on October 2, 2019. Officers listed a 20-year-old female as the victim and a male known to her as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan on October 2, 2019 at approximately 4:50 PM. Officers listed a 20-year old male as the victim of aggravated robbery and aggravated battery. A 57-year-old male was listed as the victim of aggravated assault with two male suspects (one known, one unknown) in the case. The 20-year-old victim was transported to Via Christi for treatment of injuries including a gunshot wound. No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information is currently available. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
