TOPEKA, — Authorities say a man who was shot by a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper during an arrest attempt has died of his injuries.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation said Thursday in a news release that 33-year-old Gaston Nava-Saucedo, of Topeka, died Wednesday.
