    Pediatrician provides advice for helping children who feel anxious about COVID-19 outbreak

    Dr. Mark Duff of Pediatric Associates in Manhattan spoke to KMAN Thursday about tips for helping kids who are experiencing anxiety due to the COVID-19 Outbreak.
    He says there are different things you can try based on the child’s age.

    One other tactic he suggests is creating and sticking to a daily schedule.

    Duff says there are also some things you should try not to say to your kids.

    According to Duff, anxiety in children can show up in different ways, such as hyperactivity, ADHD or changes in appetite.
