    Meet your Pottawatomie County Commission candidate (round 2): Pat Weixelman

    Pat Weixelman, a Pottawatomie County commissioner who has represented District 2 for about 12 years, will face Nancy McCarter, the current Pottawatomie County clerk, in this year’s election.

    KMAN spoke with Weixelman about his motivation for running for reelection and his stances on various county issues.

    Kansas State University is located in Riley County, but it does employ several Pottawatomie County residents. Do you anticipate the furloughs that have occurred at K-State over the past few months impacting workforce needs in Pottawatomie County?
