Officers filed a report for aggravated battery and criminal damage to property in the 400 block of Fort Riley Blvd. in Manhattan on May 25, 2021, at approximately 11:01 a.m. Officers listed a 35-year-old male and 39-year-old female as the victims when it was reported a 31-year-old female suspect hit the 39-year-old female victim with a bat causing minor injuries to her hand and head. Makia Harris, 31, of Manhattan was arrested in connection on the offenses of aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, four separate counts of possession, and two separate counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
