    Officers filed a report for burglary and criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of Hayes Dr. in Manhattan on July 26, 2021, around 7:37 a.m. Officers listed a 59-year-old female and Bob’s Plumbing and Heating as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect cut off and stole two catalytic converters from a 2012 Ford E250 van and stole miscellaneous tools from inside the van as well. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for theft in the 1 block of Ram Way in Randolph on July 26, 2021, around 2:03 p.m. Officers listed a 63-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown male suspect stole his blue 2006 Chevrolet Colorado truck from the parking lot of Blue Valley Middle School. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $10,000. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property and criminal discharge of a firearm in the 700 block of Yuma St. in Manhattan on July 25, 2021, around 5:25 p.m. Officers listed a 41-year-old female and BFC LLC as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect shot a gun multiple times hitting an unoccupied house. No injuries were reported. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $7,000. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, aggravated endangering a child and aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on July 26, 2021, around 8:07 p.m. Officers listed a 28-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a 28-year-old male suspect strangled and struck her while holding a baby and also damaged an Apple Macbook Air computer. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,050. Brandon Lee Gibson, 28, of Junction City was arrested in connection for aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, criminal damage to property and aggravated endangering a child. Gibson is confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $10,000.
