A new school year and new school mean new routes for the buses for Manhattan-Ogden USD 383.

Transportation Director Andrea Adams says to have patience with the bus routes for the new year. New changes will be implemented this year, which means they are new to the transportation staff as well.

Adams says they plan to have all bus routes out to the parents by Friday, August 13th. A new addition to this year’s transportation is a new phone and web app called “Here Comes the Bus.”

Marlatt and Bergman Elementary Schools have had significant changes to their parking lots and bus loading areas. For Marlatt, the parking lot facing Hobbs Drive will be more open for a bus loop closer to the school.

Adams says she doesn’t think there will be very many issues with traffic at Oliver Brown Elementary School.

No changes will be implemented for Manhattan High School this year. However, there may be some changes when the expansion is finished. The Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 transportation department is looking for bus drivers and monitors for the new school year.
