The Geary County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a shooting that took place on Sunday.
22 year old Enfinnity Latania Hayes, of Pensacola, Florida, was the victim. The incident took place at the Milford State Park Group Shelter around 8:30 pm at Milford State Park.
Hayes was approached by a male described as 6’1” or taller dressed in all black. The suspect approached Hayes and her husband and attempted to rob the couple at gun point. There was a gun shot and the victim fell to the ground and she was driven to Geary Community Hospital by her husband.
Hayes later died from her injuries. A source tells KMAN that Hayes also was a new mother to an infant child, born just three weeks prior to her death.

The Geary County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a shooting death as a homicide.
In a release, it’s stated that deputies were called around 8:30 p.m. Sunday to Geary Community Hospital where a person with gunshot wounds had been brought.
That person later died from their injuries.
Investigators say the shooting happened in a rural area of Geary County and is being investigated as a homicide.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
