Wednesday’s program featured a preview of Saturday’s annual Manhattan Christmas Dinner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Volunteer coordinator Kathleen Jones and Onaga New Hope Lutheran Church Pastor Michael Ide stopped by to preview the event happening 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Christmas Day.
We also received our monthly update from both superintendents at Riley County USD 378 and Blue Valley USD 384. Cliff Williams and John Cox joined the program.
And Norma Slagle, a registered dietitian with Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, joined us to discuss diabetes awareness and shared some healthy tips to manage through the holidays.
