WICHITA, Kan. — Police say a man has been shot to death outside an apartment complex near downtown Wichita, and another person has been taken into custody in the case.
Television station KSN reports that the shooting was reported around 5 p.m. Monday along north Broadway Street. Arriving officers found a man believed to be in his 20s down with a gunshot wound outside the apartment complex. Police say the man died at the scene. His name has not been released.
Police say one person was taken into custody, but have not said whether the person is suspected in the shooting.
