    Thursday’s edition of In Focus included guests from Fort Riley and the 1st Infantry Division as well as the Manhattan Housing Authority.

    In segment 1, Maj. Scott Roett and Maj. Robert Castor joined the show to discuss Big Red One Year of Family, specifically focusing on the social and emotional dimensions of strength. Segment 2 featured Linda Ward of the Garrison Safety Office at Fort Riley and Lori Moriarty of the Kansas Traffic Resource Office to discuss 102 Days of Summer Safety, with a fair of activities planned on May 25 and 26.

    The latter half of the show welcomed MHA Executive Director Aaron Estabrook as well as MHA Board Chair Jan Galitzer and Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director Deb Wooten. In segment 3, Estabrook and Galitzer provided an update on residency rates and the organization’s economic impact. Wooten spoke about her role as a front-facing employee and her philosophy and approach to service.

    Friday’s program will feature guests from Ascension Via Christi as well as Hope Ranch, all starting at 9:06 a.m.
