A teenage girl was arrested Wednesday in connection with a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at the Riley County Office Building.

Riley County Police officials say a 14-year-old girl is accused of throwing rocks at the offices and, in the process, broke out windows on the building.

Police filed the report around 10 p.m. Wednesday, with an estimated loss associated with the damage coming in at about 1 thousand dollars.

The Riley County Treasurer and County Attorney were listed as the victims in the report. The juvenile girl was arrested and processed through the county’s juvenile intake before being released to the care of a guardian.
