    On Thursday’s edition of In Focus, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Riley Commander, Colonel Michael Foote joins us to provide an update on activities on post.

    Fort Riley’s 2023 Hiring Our Heroes Career Summit was previewed with William “Hank” Jones, Transition Services Specialist with Fort Riley’s Transition Assistance Program as well as Master Sgt. Brad Spaid, 1 ID Transition Assistance Program Liaison and Crystal Kearns, Hiring Our Heroes, US. Chamber Foundation.

    Manhattan Housing Authority Executive Director Aaron Estabrook, Commissioner Brad Claussen, Procurement and Contracts Officer Mike Motley and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Geoff Mamer joined us. They spoke to a number of items, including a low income housing tax credit application for Sunflower Flats and the closing of Carlson Plaza. General updates including 2023 Capital Fund Projects were also highlighted.
