    Riley County, KAN. – 

    Officers filed a report for battery and criminal damage to property in the 2500 block of Browning Ave. (Susan B. Anthony Middle School) in Manhattan on March 8, 2023, around 11:15 a.m. USD 383, a 33-year-old man, and a 54-year-old woman were listed as the victims when it was reported an 11-year-old boy battered the two individuals and broke an interior window of the building with a metal chair. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.

    Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 900 block of Ratone St. in Manhattan on March 8, 2023, around 3:00 p.m. A 20-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported her car’s windshield was shot with a BB gun on March 4, 2023, causing approximately $500 worth of damage. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and battery (domestic-related) in Manhattan on March 8, 2023, around 6:00 p.m. A 14-year-old boy and a 38-year-old woman were listed as both the victims and suspects when it was reported the woman pepper-sprayed the boy before he threatened her with a knife.
