Manhattan Parks and Recreation is looking forward to summertime as workers begin preparing the city’s pools and splash parks before opening back up this month.

Parks and Rec Aquatics Recreation Specialist Sydni Baker says this year, all three pools and both splash parks will be up and running.

Baker encourages those interested in registering children for swim lessons to do so now, with spots filling up fast as pool season approaches.

She also encourages families who frequent the pool to purchase a season pass and get the most for their money.

Check out the parks and recreation website to purchase passes or learn more about admission rates, hours, pool rentals, swim lessons, and aquatic exercise classes.
