A Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday evening after being transported from the Pottawatomie County Jail on a Riley County District Court warrant for violation of a protection order.

The Riley County Police Department says the warrant against 26-year-old Kurtis Rich, stems from original charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated intimidation of a witness or victim, criminal damage to property and two counts of domestic battery. Online court records show the offenses are alleged from last September.

Rich remains jailed on a $50,000 bond.
