On Monday, AT&T began work on utility relocation as part of the intersection improvements project at Levee Drive and U.S. 24/East Poyntz Avenue.
The construction is expected to last two weeks which will cause Levee to be closed from Kretschmer Drive to U.S. 24. Levee Drive will remain accessible however for local traffic east of Kretschmer.
Drivers should expect light to moderate traffic while construction takes place.
Monday also saw the closing of a lane on Hayes Drive just north of McCall Road.
The outside northbound lane of Hayes Drive from McCall Road to Lodging Cats Place is closed until further notice.
