Providence will play Kansas State and Miami will face Georgia in the first round of the 2023 Baha Mar Classic, according to hoops insider Jon Rothstein.

That would be only the second meeting all-time between the two schools, as K-State won the previous matchup back in the 1977 NCAA Tournament.

Providence is enterring its first season under Kim English after going 21-12 but falling to Kentucky in the first round of March Madness. K-State is coming off a 26-10, Elite Eight season.

On the other side of the bracket, Miami’s roster includes former Cat Nijel Pack while Georgia finished 16-16, an improvement of 10 wins from the year previous.

The games will take place between Nov. 16-20.
