The Manhattan Fire Department will engage in various training certifications throughout the summer.
Manhattan Fire Department Battalion Chief of Training Jason Hudson explains some of the available certification courses.
In addition to local training, the Fire Department will be sending personnel to Texas.
The Manhattan Fire Department will continue to hire throughout the year. The next academy will take place in the fall.
