K-State basketball will have the services of Nae-Qwan Tomlin again next season after the forward removed his name from the NBA Draft pool.
Tomlin had been expected to make the move after declaring for the draft earlier this spring to receive feedback from NBA scouts.
He averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds a game this past season, his first in Manhattan after a juco All-American campaign the year previous.
Others on the list of returnees to college hoops for next year include Purdue’s 7-foot-4 center Zach Edey after being named Associated Press national player of the year. There’s also national champion Connecticut getting back guard Tristen Newton. But Kentucky big man Oscar Tshiebwe is staying in the draft as a former AP national player of the year.
