The Riley County Police Department is investigating after a 24-year-old man was battered early Sunday morning in the 500 block of North Manhattan Ave.
The victim told police a group of four unknown men punched and kicked him, causing his eyeglasses to break, before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m.
The victim was transported to Ascension Via Christi for treatment of head and neck pain.
