The Riley County Police Department has released more details regarding a Monday motorcycle crash that sent one person to the hospital.

Authorities say 21-year-old Parker Pre-Genzer, of Junction City, had been riding northbound on Hwy 13 with a group of motorcycles when he attempted to turn left on his bike, while riding next to 20-year-old Pedro Pedroza, of Wichita. The two collided at the intersection of Tuttle Cove Road.

Pre-Genzer was transported to Ascension Via Christi with minor injuries.

    Original Story – 8:30 a.m. Tuesday

The Riley County Police Department noted the crash occurred sometime around 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 13 near Tuttle Creek Blvd, just west of the dam.

The crash caused brief traffic disruptions in the area.
